The information on this link is provided by our partner, CIEE. CIEE is specifically designated by the US State Department to act as a sponsor for the Internship/Professional Career Training USA programmes, officially known as J1 Intern and Trainee Programmes. Their website contains a great deal of information on what the programme is, relevant forms and downloads, as well as guides and contact information that will assist you on the road to becoming a Host Company for an International Trainee. The US State Department have recently changed the regulations and requirements on this programme and this has an effect on the role of the Host Organisation in the application process. Please be sure to read the details on CIEE’s website

Please note that all Host Organisations will have to provide D&B DUNS ID Numbers, Employer ID Number and will also have to provide evidence of Workers Compensation Insurance before they will be able to host an Intern or Trainee.
